Cordão de Ouro means "the belt of gold". The name
Cordão de Ouro was created by the founder of the group in

Cordão de Ouro London practice at venues across London, and is a very
sociable and friendly group. Classes dont have to be booked in advance,
just turn up at the venue. Beginners are welcome! See

We hold social events outside and indoors, capoeira workshops, batizados and brazilica
parties. Students are given the opportunity to take part in various capoeira
exhibitions and shows, from beginners to advanced.
You dont need a CDOL uniform if you are just trying out the class, but
to continue training with the group you need to wear one.
